At SELAS, we have a deep understanding of the importance of environmental responsibility and our priority is to take actions to protect the environment. Sustainability is at the heart of our business and for every step of production, we take actions to sustain the environment’s natural resources for current and future generations.

As our publishing Department relies on the use of paper products, such as the printing of Maps, Atlases, Travel Guides and other publications, we do our best to ensure that our activities are conducted in an environmentally friendly way.

1. For most of our printed publications, we use environmentally friendly products, such as biodegradable inks and recycled paper.
2. We recycle all company waste, such as paper, paper cartons, ink cartridges, old printed material, electronic/electrical equipment, portable batteries, plastics, plastic bags, etc.
3. Energy savings is an essential element of the company’s goals. Any purchase of equipment from computers, screens, lighting, air-conditions, heating etc., are energy-saving items.
4. We educate people through our publications, articles and seminars to understand the importance of the protection of the environment and to live more sustainable lifestyles.
5. SELAS has signed an Agreement of membership with Green-dot Cyprus, which is a Management Body of the Collective Management System for packaging and packaging waste within the Cypriot market. We adopt the message of Green-dot “We protect the environment, we secure the future”.
6. We support charity organizations for The Nature Conservancy, conservation and environmental projects and tree plantations.

SELAS geographical database on Cyprus, is now updated and includes hundreds of new roads within towns and districts, street names, as well as a variety of new points of interest (POIs) throughout Cyprus.

The new updated geographical database of Cyprus includes 100% of addresses within towns with navigational data and 90% of the addresses within villages. Points of interest include banks, gas stations, restaurants, accommodation, public services, medical centers, sports facilities, etc. SELAS geographical database is the most comprehensive database available for Cyprus and is subject to high quality controls by Quality Management companies and leading Navigation companies.

All of the data is collected on the spot on a daily basis, it is regularly updated and meets the quality control criteria such as completeness, correctness and accuracy.

We are pleased to present you the new series of Wall Maps 2021.

Our printed map series is available in Greek and English in size 100x70cm. They include the most contemporary world geographical data and are produced in high cartographic standards and materials by SELAS, a company with a long experience in the production of Wall Maps.

The content of the maps is approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth of Cyprus and the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute.

SELAS Wall Maps have been decorating a wide range of places for over 25 years, from companies and organizations, municipalities and communities, schools and universities, embassies, reception halls, museums, exhibition centers, to home décor.

We are proud to announce the launch of the new edition of the 3D Map of Cyprus, on scale 1:250.000 and size 100x70cm. This unique Relief 3D Map gives new dimensions to Cartography.

The colourful map depicts in detail the relief of the island with the use of hypsometric tints and height spots showing in detail the plains, the mountain ranges, valleys and peaks, hydrographic features (rivers, lakes, dams etc.) and unique geomorphological landforms. The road network is classified in categories according to the importance of roads and includes even the unpaved roads. All settlements are classified as per their population. The map depicts a wealth of sites of interest such as monasteries, churches, archaeological/historical sites etc.

This unique Relief Map of high cartographic standards has been produced by SELAS team of experienced Geographers and Cartographers and is approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. It is ideal for schools, students, academics, offices and anyone else interested in the detailed study of the geography of Cyprus. It is also an aesthetic wall ornament at home or in the office.
