SELAS has undertook, on behalf of Episkopi Community Board, the Project of mapping the Ezουsa Valley and the Walking Trail created along the River of Ezousa.

The map was created using digital elevation model in order to depict the unique geomorphology of the area, with the river system which created one of the most beautiful valleys of the island. The Map depicts the 7km long Ezousa walking trail with all sites of interest encountered along the route, such as the Episkopi Rock, “the Meteora of Cyprus” as they call it, a geomorphological landform with 70cm high and 250cm long with a unique ecological value, the main road network, the land use and special physical, historical and cultural sites of the area.

Combining science, art, aesthetics and technique, we have created an original 3D Illustrated Map of Ezousa Walking Trail that should constitute a useful tool for the traveler to explore Ezousa Valley with its unique biodiversity.

SELAS undertook, on behalf of  Miliou Community Council, the Project of mapping the Community and the production of digital and printed maps.

The mapping included the recording of the road network as well as the points of interest within the village.

The mapping was made in illustrated form highlighting key buildings and local walks in  an artistic style. 

The printed maps were placed on display boards within the Community for the guidance of both locals and foreign visitors.

SELAS has undertook the Project of Nicosia Tourism Board “Walk Nicosia”, which was aiming to map Nicosia within the Walls and create maps for the special sings placed in various points within the Municipality of Nicosia for the guidance of visitors.

“Walk Nicosia” maps depict the road network, all the sites of interest in a radius within 5 and 20 minutes from the current location of the visitor enabling him/her to follow an itinerary in order to explore the city and be informed about the points of interest during the itinerary. The maps are very comprehensive, accurate, detailed and easy-to-use by the visitor.

The “Walk Nicosia” boards with Maps were designed in a modern design with quality materials and constitute an aesthetic ornament for Nicosia Municipality.

SELAS undertook, on behalf of  Agioi Trimithias Municipal Council, the Project of mapping the Community and the production of digital and printed maps.

The mapping included the recording of the road network as well as the points of interest within the village. The Maps also include an alphabetical listing of all streets within the Community’s administrative area.

The printed maps were placed in prominent places within the Community for the guidance of both locals and foreign visitors.

In addition, printed pocket size maps were designed for individual use in a simple and modern design.

SELAS undertook, in collaboration with the Municipality of Geroskipou, the Project of mapping the cultural monuments of the Municipality of Geroskipou and the design and publication of a Cultural Guide and a Map of Geroskipou.

​The Guide is very comprehensive and includes the unique monumental treasures of this ancient city, descriptions of the cultural heritage of the area, the traditional character of the settlement and the modern cultural physiognomy from the historic center to the tourist beach area.​

The bilingual (Greek-English) Cultural Guide of Geroskipou is accompanied by a detailed map, where all the cultural monuments and useful information are depicted.

The mapping included the recording of the road network as well as the points of interest within the village. The Maps also include an alphabetical listing of all streets within the Community’s administrative area. 

The printed maps were placed in prominent places within the Community for the guidance of both locals and foreign visitors.

SELAS undertook, on behalf of Tseri Municipality, the Project of mapping Tseri and the produce digital and printed maps.

The mapping included the recording of the road network as well as the points of interest within the Municipality. The Maps also include an alphabetical listing of all streets within Tseri administrative area.

The printed maps were placed in prominent places within the Community for the guidance of both locals and foreign visitors.

The Hiking Maps series includes Maps of existing nature trails in Akamas, Troodos and Ezousa Valley.

The Maps include, further to the topography of the large scale mapped areas, the main physiographic characteristics of the areas, such as geomorphological landforms, hydrographic features, forest areas, etc., as well as special man-made features, such as points of special interest, etc.

Where the scale and the volume of the content allow it, the relief is depicted with contours with little equidistance, otherwise it is simplified with the use of hypsometric tints.

SELAS undertook the mapping of Lefkara Municipality which included the road network, street names and points of interest within the area and the production of digital and printed Maps of the community.

The collection of data included all the historic and cultural sites, the churches, the lace-making and silver-smiting localities which constitute the originality of Lefkara, agrotourism units and other accommodation within the settlement and lots of useful information concerning the Municipality.

The geographical database which was created enabled the production of thematic maps which also included description of the main sites of interest in an effort to promote the area touristically.

SELAS undertook, on behalf of Pafos Municipality,  the mapping of Pafos Town and the design of wall maps which were placed in prominent sites within Pafos Municipality.

The Maps include the road network with street names, the main sites of interest and useful information for the users.
